Hi Katherine: You can make it, but I would rather buy mine as it has the flavouring and all the stuff dogs like. You don't want something that foams up and tastes bad, your dog will not like you much:) Dog toothpaste is relatively inexpensive, and it comes in a handy tube:) I'd rather pay the couple of bucks and know that my dog will like it than make my own and my dog hates it and me:(
Thank you! Yes there is one right down the road from me in Valencia. I am in there occasionally. What they have in store is expensive. Could be on line prices. I will save this and hop on in and see what they have to say. Thanks again!
You are very welcome Naomie. You have to be very careful not to give animals anything that fuzzes up or tastes bad. They might choke and will, most likely hate you for at least 3 minutes. Animals are so forgiving:) And, if they like the taste, they are less likely to fuss at getting their teeth brushed. I use a little brush on my cat's back teeth and the thing you put on your finger to do the fronts. She doesn't care for getting her teeth brushed and gives me the old stink eye the entire time. But, there are days when she eats tuna that her breath can clear a room! Good luck
