How to decorate wall ?

How high is the light switch from the floor? Is it possible to put a picture above the light switch? Most pictures/art should be hung about 63-65 inches above the floor at eye level. Is this a very large picture you are referring to and would cover the light switch?

Depending on the art work you want to hang, it could be even a cluster of small pictures/photographs, or such.

Try to find something that will hang nicely a bit above the wall switch. Perhaps a round or oval mirror, picture frame, etc.

When you don't have room for one use three. Paint the light switch and cover to match the wall color. Then I see two choices in placing framed prints. Either use three related subject prints or a triptych of a single print. Bracket the light switch with the top and middle prints, then space the bottom print the same distance as the light switch takes up. Or, use two related subject vertical prints that bracket the light switch. By blending in the wall switch and then giving the eye something more interesting to focus on, the switch becomes uninteresting.
