How do I kill wild onions in my grass?

I have tried vinegar and roundup...the entire 2 acres is covered with these wild onions.

If you can undertake reseeding, kill off the entire area with a brush killer that permits reseeding with several weeks.

Pour boiling hot water over them or any weed you have and watch them wither down to practically nothing. It really does work and so clean and chemical free!

Hi Sue. My name is Cindy. You could put salt down and follow it with hot water. Be careful when you put the salt down because it will kill anything it touches. Or another solution is to smother them out. Put cardboard on all of the onions and put something on it to hold it in place. I hope these ideas help you. Good luck from Cindy.

Try liming, as weeds tend to grow in areas with higher acidity.
