Hi. Grubs are the larva of beetles and are the bane of every grass lover's existence. In early October and again in March/April are the best times. Early October for the immature larva and April for the larger. They like damp lawns so overwatering can be a prime nesting situation. Good luck.

Depending on your climate and zone, most areas are best in spring. I would contact your local extension agent for exact times best for your area
