  Yes, it's actually a Spartanette..but most people wouldn't know what that is. An Airstream travel trailer is pretty much the same..wood walls and ceiling.

  A Spartanette is not a common trailer. Made by an aircraft company. I did find a U-tube video showing the insides. NIce find! I'd try to keep it as original as possible. I'm not into overly doing something, but touches of the colors that were popular in '50's vintage and maybe a couple items of that time. They wood walls? Can you just clean and oil them?

  Yes, wood walls and ceilings...a lot of honey colored wood everywhere! I'm not wanting to paint much of it, but thought about staining some of the wood in a color...maybe blue, green, etc. Or possibly wallpaper. I would like to modernize it somewhat and keep useable, good shape items intact. Thank you for your suggestions!

If you’re wondering how to hang things in an Rv, Command strips work great. Besides making the hooks for hanging, they also make a kind of Velcro fastener that attaches the same way regular command strips do.
