How do I wash aluminum mini blinds?

Is it worth the effort to clean them or should I just buy new? I have no children and I really need the corded blinds as I am way too short to reach over the sink..

I lay them in the tub or out side and hose them off.

Wash in the tub with warm soapy water because the blinds now are plastic.

Yes, if need a little more cleaning, use a soft scrub brush and soapy water. Turn over and do other side.

Hi! Make a soapy mixture of Dawn dish detergent and grab some sponges and microfiber cloths. Depending on how dusty they are, a brush attachment on your vacuum can remove quite a bit before it turns to mud in your tub. If you have mild weather, I like to hang them across some outdoor chairs and hose them off with a soapy mixture. They are a pain to wash, sometimes, but, they look amazing when done.

Cynthia does not it the same way I do. Her suggestion is best IMO.
