hi stephanie the best way is head to the hardware and find an expandable one you can adjust it to any size and will fit snug around the $20 mark in australia prob cheaper in u.s

    Get new ends for it.

Also, try using vinegar on the wall and the ends of the rods. Rods usually slip because there is a residue either on the wall or rod ends. I tried this and it works!

    Kimberly,

There are wooden or plastic holders that screw into the wall. Your curtain rod slides into them and stays.😊

If it's a tension rod unscrew it more and it should stay in place you may have to extend it to the point you don't think it will fit then just push it really hard into place. If it's tile put it either above tile line or on grout lines in tile. or try some dbl stick adhesive.

  • Tension rods are horrible. Get one that screws into the wall. They make curved ones that give you more room in the shower. I highly recommend those!

  • You probably need a new rod because it sounds like yours has lost the ability to hold its tension. I absolutely loved our curved rod. Totally game changer.
