I remember being a kid and sick with a bad cold and having my grandmother rub Vicks on my neck and then she fastened a tube sock around my neck with a safety pin! She would also rub it on my back and chest and made me put on man's white t-shirt--it would stick to you like a band aid! That Vicks smell still brings back memories!
