If you don't have dogs, the best way is to use poison in their holes. Or a mole trap that will also kill them. Anything else will just move them to your neighbors yard and when he doesn't kill them, they'll move back to your yard.
In our town we have a rental company that rents all types of equipment that homeowners don't want to invest in for a one time use. That is where we found the traps that you use the catch voles. Good luck! They can make a mess out of your yard in no time!
They are after the grubs in your yard. Kill the grubs the moles will leave.
Hello,
The moles are likely eating insects- grubs in your soil. Best solution wouuld be to eliminate the bugs.
I would love to find a solution too! I’ve tried to Tomcat trap and the Sweeney worms and they both didn’t work for my troubles. In master gardener classes the expert lecturer commented there are four possible solutions, get a cat, get rid of the grubs, get a trap or live with them.
Sorry to say I can say I've have not found my answer to eradicate these pests.
