How do I get out builder's marks on my porcelain tiles?

The floor tiles have black marks on them, randomly placed...Looks like a markerof some type. But NOTHING gets these marks out! It is a new house.

  • Have you signed off on all the paperwork? Call the builder back and have them come sort it out. They are on the hook for this. Take photos and document everything including every phone call and every email.

Were they there when you did your final walkthrough? Are all the punch list items completed?

Yeap the builder should have cleaned up behind themselves. Take pictures and then call the builder back and ask them to fix the problem. You need to make a paper trail. Keep EVERYTHING and write down and keep all communication with them.

Call the builder! This is on his dime. Did he walk you through the house before you took possession to see if you approved of everything? If he did and you didn't point this out, he has the option of solving the problem or telling you it's your problem.

    Hello ,

Contact the builder and see if they can offer any suggestions.

one of my favorite tips to remove scuffs stains and adhesive marks on solid surfaces often is lighter fluid.
