How can I save my mandavilla plant over the winter? It gets cold in Tn.

Mandavilla may be poisonous. Re-think if you have small children or pets!

    Hi Betty,

Is it in the ground, or in a container that can be moved?

When I still had mine, I would trim it (and cut it off the trellis I had it growing up) and keep it in our unheated outdoor utility room. I had some old rugs and bath mats that I put on the floor and if it was going to get under 45 degrees, I covered them with old sheets. They didn't need much water. When spring came, and they could be back outside they only took a few weeks to perk back up.

Be sure it comes inside when the weather approaches anything lower than 40 degrees
