Last winter was a cold one and each time we lit the fireplace I worried about the crack that was turning into a crumbling hazzard.
Fix it yourself!
We bought a replacement cement fire base but it didn't fit. A second winter of fear each time we lit a fire. This spring I decided there had to be a solution so I researched through the internet. You'll be amazed at how easy it is to fix it yourself.
There is a dangerous and frightening crack across the floor of the fireplace.
I googled for help and was led to some products readily available that promises to make the coming winter a safer one for making s'mores and sipping hot chocolate in front of a crackling fire. The best part is how easy it was to do. I wish I had found it before now.
