How do I hang fluorescent lights in an interesting way?

Had you thought to hang them on the wall at high level Horizontal around the edge of the room - or maybe in a vertical pattern (graduating in waves).

Teresa, where are these lights going to hang ??? If it's in the kitchen. don't hang them in a straight line.make a square, rectangle, a star, a letter such as H, M, T. Aloha!

Posting a picture of your fluorescent light fixtures would be helpful as then we could see exactly what you have to work with. Without knowing this, it is hard to make suggestions that might realistically work for your situation.

Also keep in mind that many retail stores no longer carry florescent light fixtures or bulbs, now that lightening has made the great leap forward in the LED world. If your fixtures are old, you may not want to go to all the work of positioning and mounting them if the bulbs are not new and/or if they will need replacing soon.
