What is the best way to paint kitchen cabinets?

Take a cabinet door or drawer front to the paint pros at your home improvement store and ask for their advice on paints, stains and other finishes. They have all of the products to do a professional job.

Make sure they are cleaned before starting any kind of painting project. I like chalk paint because it doesn't require you to sand first.

Diana: Here's an all-in-one product... it's a bit pricey... but a little goes a long way --- and no need to buy/use primer. BTW: take off all handles and hinges before painting... for a more professional look! (Number the cabinet doors so you know where to put them back on~)
