Hometalkers don't text, unless you ask them to and give out your number.
Maybe he/she thought they were in Craigslist or OfferUp?
HI Vic,
I'm Linda and I get texts from Hometalk on Facebook too. Here's what I did so that I don't get things during the night. There should be a setting on your phone where you can set it for "quiet time". I have mine set so that I don't get text's between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM. It works like a charm. I think you might find it in your privacy settings, but every phone is different. Check all of the setting, including "Advanced settings" (don't change anything though) or if you still can't find it, use your search feature. Use words like ' find privacy setting on samsung phone ' . It would also help to include your model in that search feature. I hope this helps you.
