How can I store my towels without an linen closet?

  • What is your bathroom vanity like? Any space there? How big is your bathroom? Baskets with rolled towels? Any space for a wall cabinet? How about hanging a wine rack and stuffing rolled towels into that?

Have you thought of using a large wicker basket and just rolling them up? Or maybe an oval upright basket which I have tucked in between my sink and toilet. I use it for toilet rolls but you could easily use it for towels. You can also buy different size plastic laundry baskets in the Dollar Store and spray paint or cover them in a pretty cloth. Other than that, you could buy a set of plastic drawers at the Dollar Store and store your towels in there.

You could also put in a corner shelf as pictured below or over toilet storage

Towels can be stored in a small free-standing bathroom cabinet if you have room for that. If you don't, you might get a smaller amount of storage installing a shelf in the bathroom. Sheets can be stored in the closets of the bedrooms they'll be used in. (For beds that aren't king-size each sheet set can be neatly folded and put in the matching pillowcase to keep them organized and easy to grab.)

In the bath, attach towel bars or hooks for extra towels. Outside the bath, store in lidded baskets or under beds, in clear storage boxes.
