Robert do you mean the electrical socket is ugly and you want to change it or do you mean it is wired incorrectly and it needs to be corrected? Don't really understand what you mean when you type faded. What is a faded electrical socket? Please more info. Thanks!
Robert: You can always paint the outlet cover! ...or use contact paper
They make socket covers that update the whole look now.
get a new one :)
Put a new cover on it. Remove the screw, and place the new one in it's place. Aloha!
