How do I get nail polish off pine wood furniture and make it look good

    Scrape off as much as you can. Use nail polish remover. Blot do not rub. Mineral spirits may also work. You may need to sand any residue.

  • A Magic Eraser will work, but it may take a bit of the paint off if you rub it too much.

    Hi Betty. I'm Cindy. I did some reading on your problem. I learned that you should saturate a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and set it on the nail polish for approx 5 minutes. Then pick it up and discard. If some nail polish remains, repeat. It's OK to blot, but don't rub. Good luck Betty.
