Use screens. I made mine out of MDF and used piano hinges to screw them together. Made a tiny little bedroom for my daughter when she was first born. Used it until she was about two, when we moved.
screens are good, helps section out a room nicely for cheap :)
For the amount you spend on Flimsy Screens you are better off building a Few Rollaway Partitions.
