How do I fix an indoor wobbly/loose railing?

How do I tighten/fix a wobbly, loose metal rail that runs up the stairs from my living room to the 2nd floor. Two screws hook into the ceiling and the others are bolted to the bottom edge where the rail sits. To be honest, I cannot even really tell where it is loose which makes me think I have a stripped screw in there, but they do not pull out like I do. It has me perplexed. Thank you!

Jean,. You need a drill gun, with a metal drill bit to make new holes. This will secure the railing. Aloha!

The holes in the railing and the wood match up. I don't have the equipment to drill new holes in the wrought iron, but I appreciate the help. I'm going to see if one of my brothers might have something to drill through with. Thank you!

Jean, they must be stripped. Take them out one at a time, an put screw glue on, and screw them in, the glue will harden. Buy this at a hardware store or Lowe's or Home Depot. Aloha!
