I've got another simple craft for you! There is a bit of a catch though, you'll need a cutting machine to make this craft, but no worries if you don't have one because you can find MANY Etsy shops that cut vinyl for you. (Visit our blog for the link tot he Etsy shops)

I've previously made one of these Happy Thanksgiving Platters in the past, you can click right here to see that one!

You will need the following items to recreate my platter:

Large plate or platter

Cricut Cutting Machine

Wild Card Cartridge

Black Vinyl

Transfer paper

I found two of these plates at Goodwill marked $2.99, but they were having a 1/2 price sale that day so I got them for $1.50 each. BARGAIN! Since I have two of them I decided to share one with one of my IG followers too.

I used my Goodwill bargain platter, my Cricut Expressions machine (its really old, but it still works) and my Wild Card cartridge to cut out the black vinyl for the platter. The phrase is cut at 17" and the leaf is cut at 6".

Obviously this isn't the same word, but here's how I transfer my vinyl to the plate.

First I cut out the wording I want and remove all the vinyl pieces I don't need.

Now, using transfer paper, cover your word and rub firmly with your fingers to adhere the word to the transfer paper.

Now carefully peel back the transfer paper making sure your word is coming along with it like you see here.

Line up your word where you want it on the plate, stick it down. Firmly rub the entire word to adhere it to the plate and remove transfer paper.

If that wasn't clear enough to understand, there is a really good tutorial linked on our blog. Find the blue "GO" button down below and click it to go directly to our blog.

There are limitless possibilities on what phrase you could add to your plate for almost any occasion or holiday. I have lots of them that I use for my Halloween and Christmas decor.

If you loved this project and want to save it for later, be sure to add it to your favorite board.

Thanks for looking! :)
