I use a mixture of hot water, washing up liquid and a splash of vinegar and give mine a scrub then make sure I leave them to dry well before putting things back in

Julie,. Start with Lestoil, let it dry completely. Next, wash it with Murphy's Oil Soap, follow the directions for both. Aloha!

    Hi Julie,

I'm Linda and I use vinegar & water (50% each) with a few drops of Dawn to clean my cabinets. Since it's only a few cabinets, and you like your product that you normally use, you could also try Murphy's Oil Soap. I have a down-draft fan on my range so I've haven't had a greasy build-up on my cabinets. However, I did have 3 kids with not-so-always-clean hands and Murphy's Oil Soap has worked for that. Wishing you success with your project!

ACTUALLY, TSP/Tri-Sodium Phosphate/Sugar soap is absolutely the best way to degrease kitchen surfaces, friend. It's commonly available at hardware stores. You'll want to use gloves as it can be extremely drying to the skin and rinse the cupboards well with clean water. Give them a fast shine with lemon oil after cleaning
