    This is dependent upon what type of lighting, and how much lighting hits your walls.

    I assume you don't want something morbid. Try to get a "Bright Grey", it will help to show up and not mute out.Sto.res can give you a small jar to try to find right color.

    Hi Peggy - get some swatches from a paint store to start. Hold them up to see what kind of tones you want - cool (more blue grey) or warm (more tan-gray). Then pick your favorite 3-5 and get sample paints. Paint them all on multiple walls and look at them for several days during the day, at night, in a variety of lights.

    Primer first on wall helps to get accurate color of paint you've picked then pick colors your leaning towards get samples from store and paint long strip down wall & look at them in several different light sources(day,night,lights on in room). The long strip of paint will help you see wall from different heights/angles depending on where you are in room,light sources,and if sitting of standing.It's going to be on walls awhile so making sure you got what you want is key.
