It’s shorting out the circuit. Have you thrown & re-set the circuit breaker? Does it re-break? Do you want to know how to do this?

If it re-breaks, What else is on that circuit? Is it overloaded? Have you plugged in something new on that circuit?

If not, something in the attic is causing a permanent shorting of the circuit.

Maybe: Exposed wire, wiring nut fell off, piece of metal insulation over the recessed can is arcing..

It sounds like the lights are wired ‘in series’ as opposed to ‘in parallel’. This means that the wires go from one light to the next. This means that if one bulb blows it interrupts the circuit and none of the lights work. They need to be re-wired into a parallel circuit so this doesn’t happen. Probably a job for an electrician.

    Hey buddy

The main breaker to the house? If so I haven't. The breaker never tripped.

There are 3 recessed lights down a hallway in the basement
