Window Frame Upcycled With a Playmobil Family, Lantern and Mirror
You're going to say that I'm obsessed with the Playmobils frameworks at the moment. And I have to admit that I love to recycle small figurines into a lot of things. But in fact I'm working on 3 pieces of furniture that take longer to finish, so I can not show them yet. Soon I hope!
A completely transformed frame to become a Playmobil showcase frame, a customizable family table where each Playmobil represents a member of the family, with a family-specific text panel represented by 4 Playmobil characters of parents and children, a mirror and a small lantern to light. This personalized frame decorated with birds, flowers, ladybugs and butterflies is a beautiful visual representation of how your family has grown over the years.
- First I detached the bottom of a picture frame and I completely repainted it in white.
- I chose on the internet free patterns that I printed with my color printer in several copies, I spray-painted each page so that the colors resist the wet glue and I covered the frame and its sides of my bird blue paper with school polish and a sponge.
- Once completely dry, I put 2 coats of varnish on the frame covered with my paper patterns.
- I cut a green sponge shaped rounded bush so that we can slip a led candle. I stuck miniature flowers and a bird on the bush.
- I stuck on the frame, miniature flowers, ladybugs, and butterflies.
- Then on the inner edge of the frame, I fixed the bush, mushrooms and the entire Playmobil family with their little animal, the rabbit.
- For the background, I cut a plexiglass glass that I stuck and the back of the frame, a palm leaf, and a mirror on a blue background and a cardboard to seal everything. I nailed 2 wall ties.
- I finally made a customizable label with the name of the family that I covered plexi and nailed to the frame with a ribbon and a nail.
This table would be perfect on the entrance wall of the house to accommodate guests in an unusual and colorful way.
This personalized window frame, with lots of birds and flowers, makes a family table that can be turned on or off, and a mirror that will be perfect for decorating your home.
