Heat it up with a heat gun and scrape off the excess glue with a paint scraper. You will also need a solvent from the hardware store to remove the leftover residue.
I used that and it did a good job but with the large area and a cast on one wrist iit’s Just too much right now. I started using an electric sander. Thanks!

Hi! Goof Off may be worth trying.
Use Citristrip stripper. Neutralize with vinegar and water. Goof Off is for paint OOOPS. Goo Gone is for removing adhesives.
