Ge some farmhouse decorating magazines. Cut out pictures you like of the way the living room furniture is placed and how it is decorated. Pretty soon it will come to you what you need to do for your home as you will be cutting out similar pictures. Above all, have fun with it.
Hello Christine! I think creating a farmhouse look is the accessories! You have a great neutral color on your walls so don't change that! And your coffee table is perfect for a farmhouse look. I would change some things on the walls--you have some great wall space, add a blanket ladder, maybe paint your tv stand the same color as your coffee table, add some ship lap. There are so many options! Check out Pinterest and Hometalk for ideas! Here's one place to get you started! https://www.homelovr.com/farmhouse-living-room-decor-ideas/
Here are some great ideas to inspire you. I think lighter furniture would be a start but your coffee table would fit right in.

First step is purchasing your sofa and loveseat. Think pattern with several colors in it. This gives you options for other colors and accessories. Don't worry about mixing woods and painted furniture, that adds interest. Change the wall color to a warm pallet instead of grey, too contemporary. Need more wall art. Art over TV are to spread out and high. Cluster them a little more.
I agree with first response, look thru magazines and get ideas.
I would make the window a focal point. Add curtain panels on either side. Get a coordinating 8x10 rug. This will allow you to see color / pattern on the floor and up the walls. Put a wood bench under the windows. Move the couch to the other side of the TV. You could use an outdoor "sisal" style rug and burlap type curtains if you don't want so much pattern. You could probably get them both for $100 at a store like Target.
I’m just wondering how many of ya’all have actually been out on a farm......I’m in an area where farms rule......and I have never been one that looks like a certain tv show. Don’t be a copy cat. You and yours are unique got a favorite color...use it. Got a cool piece of furniture use it. Having been behind the scenes on certain tv shows.....the white is more for the cameras,
I love the coffee table! I think a nice natural jute rug with lighter furniture (I love white or a light linen/beige) would look great! Then you need to add some warmth with pillows, throws, and wall art. So many great "farmhouse" style pieces out there. Go to Target, Homegoods, or even Walmart! Best of luck!
You can only use some rustic accents like these:

to make it more farmhouse looking,
Hobby Lobby has a lot of Farmhouse items. Let’s see the end result when you’re done. Good luck!
