Hi Jo, Mask off the areas you don't want to paint or unscrew the Blades and just do them on the table or Bench that has been covered with old newspaper. Spray or paint or cover .....

To paint ours we take them down and wipe the clean, then lay them on an old card board box or even a plastic garbage bag and spray ours. You can also paint them with a brush or even chalk paint them. They are not hard to paint once you get them down. Hope this helps.

I got sick of looking at my ceiling fan and painted it several years ago. Took everything down and set it on newspaper outside. Tape off what you don't want to paint and be careful not to clog or plug any vents with paint. Several light coats is much better then one or two heavy coats (you don't want any runs). I let mine dry overnight and put it back the following day. Just be careful not to scratch anything. Good luck.

Hi Jo. My name is Cindy. Loosen the nuts and remove the old glass light shades and bulbs so that you can get to the body of the fan easier. Next, remove screws and each blade arm from the fan body using a screwdriver. Flip each blade over and remove the screws that hold the arm in place. Wipe each blade with a damp cloth. Then paint with color of your choice. Re-install each blade arm onto each blade and then secure the blade arm to the fan body using a screwdriver. Replace the shades and bulbs. Hope this helps. Good luck Jo.
