How do you make ornaments out of paper?

You can use old paper back books.

Take off front and back covers then fold apage into the spine remember to keep it tightly in, then fold again into the spine, this should look like a smaller triangle with a flap at the bottom. This can be folded upwards. Carry on throughout the book, ( it does get more difficult as you go to get the pages into the spine, but you must be tight, otherwise the shape will be distorted). This will produce a Christmas tree shape. You can fold a different way to produce a bauble shape. These can be sprayed gold or add glue and glitter. I have included some of the things I made with paper.

Pinterest is a good site, but hometalkers have great ideas, just search recycled paper Christmas ideas.

These are very easy to make once you get the hang of it. Don't have to use longer paper--just cut strips more narrow if using standard copy paper.
