I just started making a lamp shade out of paint sticks..I'm using them to go on a ha going light..I got 2 12 inch embroidery hoops..you can get plain paint sticks at Home Depot package of 10 for 98 cents ..it takes 40 sticks to go around a 12 inch hoop..I am staining th top half and painting the bottom various lengths of white.. I'm using a brad nailer to attach the sticks..
