How do I find the right size shutter screws?

I have an outdoor vinyl with a broken plastic shutter lok type screw. My problem is the screws are about 1.5 inches long and all the available shutter plastic screws appear to be 3 inches in length. Does anyone make shutter screws of this length anymore? If not what would you recommend I do? The shutters appear to be from about 2005.

Is it vinyl siding on your home? And is actually a shutter that needs to be reattached to the wall?? If it is a shutter, the shutter screws only come in a length of 3 inches. This means that the rest of the screws are broken off inside the wall of your home. My recommendation would be to move your shutters over about 1/4 inch. Chances are you will tear your vinyl siding if you try to get the rest of the screw out. If moving the shutters over 1/4 inch doesn’t cover the existing holes, you can caulk them using a colored caulk similar to your vinyl siding. My hubby and I own our own construction business that specializes in siding, gutters, and roofs. Good luck! And I hope this was helpful.

K,. Home Depot should have shutter screws. You can Google it. "Who sells gutter screws?".

We had an issue with our vinyl shutters and took pictures and they were able to help us at Home Depot. If you talk to someone in the doors and windows, I'm sure they can help you.
