  • I've heard that you can use hydrogen peroxide and baking soda, Kim.

Did you try soft scrub with a nylon scrubby? After awhile they just don't clean anymore.

    Hi there,

My mother used to remove the burners and soak them and use an old toothbrush and steel wool to do the job!

Have you ever tried Barkeeper's Friend. It's a polishing powder that's great for almost everything. Comes in powder or paste, get the powder, and make it into you own application. It's really for porcelain and pots and anything else you want to throw it at. 😉

You can find it at drug and grocery stores. Good luck.

There is a product called Dawn Power Dissolve that is almost like an oven cleaner for stove tops and cookware. In a blue spray bottle, and sometimes hard to find. Spray it on, let it soak a while, even overnight, and then use a scrubby or SOS pad.
