How to remove carpet stains using Dawn detergent and baking soda?

    • Blue Dawn Dish Soap
    • Hydrogen Peroxide
    • Baking Soda


    Add one tablespoon of each to a bowl. Gently stir.

    Let this sit for an hour or so and the stain should be gone.

    Be careful with this formula as Hydrogen Peroxide has bleaching properties. You may find the stain gone, but replaced by bleached out spot. SK

    Use 1/4 cup of white vinegar, 1 tbsp. of Dawn dish soap, and fill with water. Spray area liberally and let soak for 5-10 minutes and then proceed with blotting with a clean, dry towel until stain is removed. Some carpet stain removal products can be of great benefit for combating many types of carpet stains.
