Are gutter covers worth the investment?

Absolutely! Best investment, ever. If they ever need attention, the installing company takes care of it for free. No climbing ladders, no fear of falls, no icy hands, no items growing in gutter, no overflowing gutters, no rain drenched clothing, no paying someone to do it when you no longer can ( or if a physical injury in your younger years prevents you from being able to do it, yourself).. What could be better?

Gutter guards are advertised as being able to prevent your gutters from clogging with leaves, as well as water and debris — thus saving you from what could be a dangerous household task. However, not everyone agrees that gutter guards are worth the cost, time, and effort to get them installed.

Gutter guards are a great investment. I tried the aluminum screens and they collapsed under weight. Tried the brush that goes in the gutter. The get clogged and slows/stops water flow. I finally found what works for me. Have had no problems.

They're easy, but a teensy bit fiddly to install but they work a real treat. The flat side slips up under the shingles and the other side snaps into the gutter edge.

Absolutely worth the money. Gutter helmet offers lifetime warranty to original owner, takes care of any issues (birds getting into edges, etc.), great customer care.

No more ladders, ice dams, leaves interfering with rain drainage.

Leaf Guard is also highly recommended.
