How do I make a bold statement with kitchen tile?

I had a 42” kitchen sink , downsizing to 36” from a flood.The sink covered the tile, but I will have open area. Any ideas for a bold tile statement inthat area if I can’t find originaltile? Thanks

How about square mosaic tile in a contrasting color.

How about larger tile of light color to give it drain board look? Or a solid piece of granite.
