How do I put a shower curtain up for a tub/shower with a slanted ceil?

Our upstairs bathroom has a tub/shower unit that is under the slanted ceiling. Our cape cod house has a 9/12 pitch roof so ceilings are not flat.

You might have to suspend it from the ceiling.

Can you attach a shower curtain rod on the walls so it will be horizontal. I am not sure where you ceiling starts to pitch and if you have enough height to attach rod. A picture would be helpful.

Can you share a photo? That would help a lot! I have a cape cod and feel your pain - the angled ceilings! they’re charming but can be a challenge. :)

You might have to attach a little beveled piece of wood to make vertical surfaces to put the rod on. Otherwise maybe you could hang it from the slanted ceiling with wire?

We're all trying to visualize your set up. Does the ceiling slope front to back?...or high side to low side (like an alcove underneath stairs)?

Slants from High to low. So shower head is on wall with highest angle, slanting down to back of tub. Tried to attach photo but it wouldn't import.

If your back wall is "whale shaped", you can place the rod in a straight line from back to front, starting where the slope of the wall intersects with the ceiling slope at rear of tub.

You may need to cut the rear shower rod support in half, forming a semi circle, into which you'll drill your screw/anchor for the rod.
