How do I find a good degreaser for my kitchen cabinets?

I’m looking for a degreaser to use for removal of “build up” on my kitchen cabinets. I’ve tried one in “spray” form but it only drips off. Is threre a degreaser that I can possibly “rub” on instead of spraying it on?

Dawn Dishwashing Soap and water should help, applied with a sponge. Are you cleaning wood cabinets?

Ammonia is the best degreaser I have ever found.

Just pour into warm water ,wring well and wash.

The amount of ammonia depends on the grease buildup.

Be sure to keep a window cracked open.

This relies how much buildup you have.

I always was upbrought to use a mix of 3 parts windex with 1 part Dawn mixed into the 75% used windex container and well shaken. Similar to the other respondents. This works well on low volume grease, shen yoh keep up with it. For high volume grease, of a family frying daily, with 5 years of buildup, very doubtful it works as well. As in high volume where it appears caked on, and flakes of grease are quite apparent if you scrape it with a plastic spork you will need to find an industrial strength degreaser, at a Restaurant Supply nearby you or Online.
