We bought some flexible drain puller tools that worked amazing. You can buy them at any hardware store or Walmart, Target, etc... You just stick the tool down the sink and it grabs the hair and you pull it out. It's a pretty nasty job.

    Hi Elida,

If you can reach any of the hair, manually take it out with tweezers or anything that will reach the hair. From there, you will need a drain cleaner that will dissolve hair. Follow the manufacturers directions on the container. Rinse well after use. Is there some way you can cover your drain trap so the hair will not enter it? The make various sizes of these available at DIY stores.

Another way is to manually remove the trap below the sink, clean it out in another sink & put it back in place.

Remove as much of the water as possible from the sink and drain. The less liquid in sink, the better this hack works. Get a bottle of Nair or other type of liquid hair remover (I’ve found that the higher priced brand names like Nair seem to work better than any of the cheaper, generic brands I’ve found) for the human body and pour the whole container down the drain. Let it sit for about double the time the directions state on the bottle. *Example: If it states to let it sit for 10 minutes, then let it sit for 20 minutes. It needs time to flow down to the clog and to work it’s magic on it. You may want to give it more time to sit than that, depending on how bad the clog is. Then if needed, plunger a little bit to loosen it all up and rinse thoroughly. This trick has worked better than any drain cleaner I’ve used, and is safe to use on your pipes since it goes down the drain anyways when you wash it off your body!

** To prevent future clogs from happening, you may want to follow up by repeating this once every few months as routine maintainance. Hope this helps!

It's a nasty job for sure but this helps so you don't have to touch too much of it :)
