  • Yikes! That's just gross, I feel your pain. I would go with Bar Keepers Friend and a scrubbie sponge or TSP.

Have you tried Oven Cleaner? Try it in a spot to make sure it doesn’t take the Veneer off 😂 it doesn’t take long so scrape it off after about 3 minutes. I used it on the stubborn places like the very flat top of my cabinets, spray it on then use a plastic putty knife and it will come off. After you get the “gunk” off, then clean with your everyday cleaner! Hope this helps and get the Oven Cleaner with the Lemon smell, or wear a mask so you don’t breathe it in! With the Lemon , I didn’t have to 🍋 Good Luck 🍀

TSP, trisodium phosphate or Krud Kutter.

Nikki, after 19 years, it may be that your laminate has just reached it's peak. Over time, laminate can loose luster, and tends to just look dirty, no matter what you do. It is possible to paint your cabinets, just make sure you use something like TSP to clean.

I have the same problem cause my vent doesn’t go to the outside. It is up over the stove and microwave. Seems like everything gets so greasy, even my house phone. I’m going to try one or two of these also.
