How in the world do I get rid of tordeo grass?
Louisiana yard is being taken over with this grass. But it’s the garden plots that I am worried about. I go after the roots, ut they are forever coming back.

Hi Lisa. I'm Cindy. I did some research for you. I could not find any info about "tordeo" grass. I did find torpedo grass and I'm wondering if that's what you meant. If it is, glyphosate will kill torpedo grass. It might also kill grass around it. Not to worry. You should just remove the dead grass and then lay soil in the area and re-seed it. Best of luck to you Lisa.
Hi Lisa, Here is a link with a lot of good information on it. It sure sounds like it is extremely hard to kill. Good luck.

The only way to completely rid yourself of this grass is to make sure to excavate the root system from the area that it is growing in.
