How do I make my Terazzo Floors Shine?

In commercial buildings they use industrial polisher machines. Residential floors don't get the wear and a polish job last longer. It's like refinishing floors every so many years. I'd call around to find a co that does that, have it done and find out how they recommend maintaining it.

You can rent a floor polisher from home depot. Tape off base boards. Wash and swiffer good. Clean with floor stripper to remove layers of wax/polish. Use polisher and sand with high grit. Clean, clean, clean. Remove all dust. The use commercial grade stone, concrete or terrazzo polish (home depot), and polish with floor polish discs. The polish 2 more times. Then one more time with buffer.

Yes, time consuming, but the result will leave a wet look floor.

Clean with MILD soap. Polish with soft mop occasionally.

I have had terrazzo for over 40 years and love it.
