How to descale keurig with vinegar?
Can someone tell me how to descale a Keurig with vinegar? My Keurig is my best friend . I can't get by a day without my coffee. But it's not working as well as it used to and I think it wants to be cleaned. I try to avoid chemicals so I like to clean just about everything in my house with (white) vinegar. Does anyone know how to descale a Keurig with white vinegar? Thanks!

We clean our coffee maker every few months with vinegar. Fill it with vinegar instead of water and run it until all the vinegar has come through. If it isn’t running faster do it again until it is. :)
Hi Maria,
There is a great post about how to do this here on Hometalk, and it says
to do the following:
1. Pour vinegar in the machine and run the brew cycle (with no k-cup) until the vinegar comes out clean. It will take a few cycles.
2. Run a few cycles of just water through the brewer to remove the vinegar.
3. Clean the inside with a sponge or cloth (with a little bit of soap).
4. Use your little cleaning brushes to get in between the little crevices.
5. Clean the outside with a sponge or cloth.
Here's the link - there's more information in the post, and some good comments from the Hometalk community. Hope this helps!
