I do A LOT of accent walls and ceilings. Here’s what I do to prep for install day🙌🏼🔨
I collected some barn wood to use for the ceiling install. A light sanding and some work to get the boards straight. I used a jointer and a table saw.
I also paint the accent wall/ceiling black before install. It helps hide voids and spaces!
