Grinch Christmas Ornament

One of my favorite movies has always been How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss. It's one of the Christmas movies that I will watch all year long. A couple days after watching the new movie, I was making pom poms and the trimmings reminded me of the Grinch. That's when this ornament was born.

These were my pom pom trimmings. Use green yarn and start cutting up into small pieces. You can use the same color or several different colors... it's up to you.

Fill your clear Christmas bulb with the yarn. I just stuffed it in the bulb with my fingers, but you can always use a funnel if it would be easier for you.

I used red felt and cut out a small heart. I used my hot glue gun to attach the heart. I also used a small piece of green felt to cover the cap.

Use yarn or twine for hanging. I used a glass ornament, but you can use plastic ornaments for kids. This would be a great kids craft for a Christmas party or school. In that case, you can always use craft glue instead of a hot glue gun.
