Anyone have a creative way to store cast iron skillets?
My kitchen is small. I love using cast iron skillet, but don't know how I can store them other than in my oven. Hanging them is NOT an option. Any suggestions?

Not sure I can use any of these suggestions, but they've at least got me thinking. Thanks.
Just curious why hanging is not an option....lack of wall space?
Lack of wall and ceiling space
Can you install a slide out in a base cabinet? You can always keep one on the stove top, covered with waxed paper, if necessary.
I only have one base corner cabinet, with a turntable in it. My other lower storage is a 1940s farmhouse sink with metal drawers.
Mary,
You could try hanging it on the inside of a cabinet door if the skillet is not too deep. Be careful that the hook you use does not poke through the front of the cabinet door. You could also just leave it in the oven when not in use. If you really want to get creative, you can use the space under your cabinet. You can find tutorials on how to make a sliding storage drawer that will fit in the toe kick space under the cabinet.
Thanks, not an option with hollow metal cabinets. I have several pans.
