I have this Barley Twist Coffee Table with heavy glass removable top and would like to find out more info and value of it. I bought it at a auction approx. 33 years ago. Have searched everywhere and find nothing about it. There is a shelf sitting on top of the table, please ignore that.

It's an American made piece from around the 80s. Don't remember the maker. If I had to put a fair market value on it for KY it would be about $150. The value of coffee tables have dropped and the want for quality wood furniture. Ikea and the "farmhouse" look has changed the market. If I were to put that in one of my antique booths, I'd price at $175. And accept $135. I really like it, hope you hold on to it.

Beautiful piece! Please don’t alter it with paint!

I have two bed frames from the 60s, no manufacturer name anywhere. The frame looks the same as the legs. It takes well to Lemon Pledge. Very Likely is the same manufacturer. Ever you find out the manufacturer please let me know.

Bridgett, Have you tried Kovels book on antiques. Take a picture of it and go to an antique dealer. You can post it online, maybe someone can help you locate the price. Aloha!

Your table seems to be in excellent physical shape, but I think it needs a good cleaning with tsp, then a coating of a good thick furniture wax or a sealer like polyurethane. This would either be a boho or a collector’s purchase. Enjoy it or enjoy sending it on its way. Best wishes! ☺️

No don't use polyurethane, fine furniture uses lacquer , in various Sheena. Just polish it with Old English.

Just a little FYI. Pledge contains silicone. Silicone can soften the finish on your furniture and if you ever want to paint it the silicone can ruin the outcome of your efforts. Wood loves lemon oil.

Yes silicone is terrible for furniture

I have some end tables that have the same look, bought about 1993. I'm out of state for another ten days but after I get home I'll investigate the maker of mine. I love barley twist, always drawn to it.

I have two end tables (had a solid top coffee table I gave away after movers scratched the top) that are barley twist. Mine are by Lane, bought sometime in the early 90s. Also have a much older barley twist table. A design that thumbs its nose at time...
