I needed a new wreath for my front door but wanted one I could leave up all winter instead of just December. Snowy white, pine, cinnamon, silver, maybe a touch of gold.... As the thoughts bounced in my head, I was itching to plug in my glue gun!

Time to shop! I picked up a 24” grapevine wreath, “fall” flowers, a bag of pine cones and cinnamon sticks, and two 4yd rolls of ribbon at Michaels. You can usually find the parts on sale if you hit it right... I already had wire cutters, a glue gun, and plenty of glue sticks.

Add the ribbon, in this case silver and gold. Glue down one end of the silver ribbon, wrap it around and around, and then glue down the end. Do the same for the gold ribbon.

Pick which end you want to hang the wreath to determine your top (12 o’clock). Use wire cutters to separate the flowers leaving enough stem to jam into the wreath. Lay out your first big flower at about 7:30. Continue to lay out the rest of the big flowers between 6 and 9 o’clock. Fill in with the smaller flowers. Once you like it, glue them down.

Fill in with the pine cones and cinnamon sticks in and around the flowers. I then added a couple more pine cones all around the rest of the wreath. Hang up and enjoy until March!

Suggested materials:
