How do I clean a broom head?

Dolores, I usually just hose it off, scrub across clean pavement, rinse again and let it air dry.

When I am cleaning mini blinds in a soap mix in the bathtub I put the broom in that also. Just stand it up in the corner with the bristles soaking in the soapy water and let it sit for several hours and or course rinse.

Ever since I got an eye vac my broom seens clean as new. The eye vac is a small unit that sits on the floor and you sweep to the front which activates its suction. It sucks everything which cleans the broom really well. Hair dressers use them.

If full of lint or dust, sweep on cement, usually takes most off. If it has greasy coating soak in pail of soapy water, then swish in clean and it should be clean. Good luck
