I always like to order through a local glass company. The quality is great and that is their speciality so they are very helpful.

I love the think and thin wavy glass. It does not show the soap marks near as much as the clear ones do. It also adds an element of privacy to the shower.

I really like the semi-frameless that operate like barn doors. Very beautiful and modern looking. Also, you can buy treated glass that is hygrophobic and doesn't water mark.

Laura's suggestion is what I have seen the most of when looking. We are going to do a remodel in the near future. I have a tip to keep it clear and clean. Unless you are installing a marble tub/shower, use "wet & forget shower" once a week to keep it looking like new. I wish I had known about this product years ago, just found it about 1-1/2 years ago.

I haven’t but my grout is the sanded grout. I have caulking around the shower doors sides and bottom. There has been deteriorating there. They sell it at Lowe’s if you want to read the label. Oh duh, internet site too.

To answer your question take a look at this years photos right here: www.MalibuGlassMI.com and Google: "Malibu Glass and Shower Door" By far the most popular metal Finish has been Brushed Nickel and 3/8" Clear Glass or I upgrade my people to Shower Guard LIfetime Warranty (We are a Registered Dealer) You can find the info online. Always use a professional. Glass, especially Heavy Glass is not for a typical DIY'er. We have all the contacts, tools and the experience to do the job correctly and be up to all codes and it will always have a warranty. We design and install several hundred Custom Configurations per year. Call a company of good reputation, and use good judgement. If you don't like the guy(s) that come to measure or get a bad feeling don't use them. Same goes if you think your being sold by a salesman. We don't have to "sell" you anything. We are simply laying out the options and you can make the decision based on what will fit into your budget. We are designers, ficilitators, and installers and we have the attitude of a servant. That means we clean up and make it as "photo ready" on every job. One more note don't be shy of checking online reviews but don't take them entirely to heart ask for references. Have the previous customers call you and tell you their experiences. At least 3. Hope that helps!
