Festive Yarn Letters

Last week I went to my Grandma's house to put up her Christmas tree... one of my favorite Christmas traditions. I decided to make her something to add to her holiday décor and came up with these festive yarn letters. I love how they turned out and they are so easy to make! Plus, it's the perfect way to use up those Amazon boxes!

Cut letters out of your cardboard. You can freehand them or print some off the internet.

Make a small cut in the cardboard to hold the yarn and start wrapping the letter.

Wrap your letters with different colors. You can be as messy or as neat as you want with how you wrap your letters. When you are finished wrapping, tie the end of your yarn to a piece on the back.

Glue pom poms to the letters. You can also get creative with how you decorate. You can add: feathers, beads, glitter, charms and so much more...

I turned my letters into a garland, by using the hot glue gun to glue the letters to a piece of yarn.

What do you guys think? I love how they turned out. You can also use these letters as ornaments or gift toppers...
